Darnel W. “Bud” Talbert passed away peacefully, with family by his side, at his home in Cary, NC on February 5, 2014. Darnel was born in Washington, DC to the late Darnel George Talbert and Dora V. (Bateman) Talbert.
Darnel is survived by his beloved wife, Natalie Talbert and three children, Darnel Talbert of Manteo, NC, Kimberly Talbert Emmons of Cary, NC and Laurie Talbert Melley of Grasonville, MD; four grandchildren, Patrick Emmons of Durham, NC, Kathleen Emmons Oakley of Cary, NC, Ryan Talbert and Andrew Talbert of Stevensville, MD; two great-grandchildren, Austin Oakley and Abigail Oakley of Cary, NC.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Wake Memorial Park, 7002 Green Hope School Road, Cary NC 27519.
