Craig Andrew Stanton, 36, of Cary, NC died on Tuesday, April 4, 2023. He was born and raised in Sanford, NC. Craig was a graduate of Cary Academy and North Carolina State University, with a degree in chemistry. He was employed in quality control at Biogen Pharmaceuticals.
Craig is survived by his parents Ed and Linda Stanton (Sanford, NC), brothers Jeffrey (Washington, DC) and Scott (Corvallis, OR). He is also survived by his maternal grandmother Betty Westfall (Pittsboro, NC), maternal aunt Carolyn Beatty (spouse Frank, Chapel Hill, NC), cousins Marisa Beatty (Chapel Hill, NC) and Collin Beatty (spouse Brandi, Land O’Lakes, FL). He is also survived by his second cousin Berkley Beatty (Land O’Lakes, FL).
Craig was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Arlie Westfall and paternal grandparents, Al and Margaret Stanton.
A private memorial service is planned for a later date.
