I spent some time with the Morgan family some, many years ago, as I was a co-worker with Howard and did some work and socializing with the family then.   Beverly was always a joy to spend time with, and inspiration, and a great woman.

I was saddened to learn of Beverly's passing.  My sympathies are with her family and friends.  I met Beverly as a young employment lawyer on secondment to GSK.  She was very kind and patient to this newbie lawyer, who learned a great deal from her, not only about the role but about people and life in general.  She had a huge and positive impact upon my professional and personal journey.  Over the succeeding years, I always looked forward to working with her or just catching up with her. Beverly was one the most giving, humble, intelligent, accomplished, positive, motivating, non-judgmental and loving woman I knew. I joined Glaxo in 1992 and Beverly took me under her wing and mentored me throughout my career. She went out of her way to support me and others even when she carried a busy/heavy load of her own. She was the true embodiment of 'selfless'.  What a special lady and I'm missing her immensely. My deepest condolences and sympathy to the family. Beverly and I were featured in Glaxo's annual report magazine in June 1994 that focused on diversity, helping communities, and supporting educational and health-related programs under Robert A. Ingram's, President and CEO, leadership.

I knew Beverly from Northeast Baptist Church. She was in the Youth Choir. One Sunday the choir was traveling and my mother mentioned that I was tired of babysitting and working at fast food restaurants. Beverly mentioned an internship position that her HR department had available. And I worked with Beverly in HR from 1992 until I believe 1996. I had no idea what Beverly was about to teach me and the people that she was going to introduce me to. But I cherish every moment!
Beverly loved her family and her job! And did a great job making sure she was present for both. I loved receiving her annual family Christmas card, the day after Thanksgiving! 
I am forever grateful for the things that Beverly did to help me while I was at Glaxo/GlaxoWellcome, that have supported my journey to becoming a school teacher in the state of Maryland and a mentor teacher to new teachers at my school.

Beverly was a beautiful person.  I can remember being a new mother in RWJJ and being immediately drawn to Beverly.  She always had time to share a kind and encouraging word and always welcomed conversations about balancing motherhood and a career.  Beverly helped me curate my list  of things to see and do when I visited London for the first time years ago- she did not steer me wrong!  She was so well-traveled.  I can also remember the beautiful gifts she sent my family to celebrate my son’s birth three years ago.  We were delighted with the most precious items- Beverly’s taste was impeccable, and she was so kind, generous and thoughtful. I pray Beverly’s family is surrounded by people who love them and who share countless memories of why Beverly’s life mattered to so many.  Blessings and peace. 

Beverly was one of the classiest people I had the pleasure of working with at GSK.  People loved working with Beverly, and she was very adept at navigating through the organization. Hello Rudy, Faye, Sonya, and the entire Ellis family from Merle Carlton Green and Emily Carlton Rogers and Timothy Carlton, your NE Baptist Church and Chapel Hill friends!  We are so sorry to hear of the loss of Bevely.  We all grew up together at NorthEast Church, and we have too many fond memories to begin to document.  Beverly sang in the Young  People's choir with Merle, and she always had a beautiful smile and sweet dialogue with Emily and Tim.  Our mom and dad, (Dorothy and Charlie Carlton) loved her immensely!  May your hearts be comforted throughout this time of deep bereavement.  We love you with all our hearts.

So sorry to hear the news of Beverly's passing. She was a wonderful colleague at GSK - I have many fond memories of conversations full of wisdom and laughter in her office in the South Expansion building, back in the day.  RIP dear Beverly.

Beverly was truly one of the kindest people I've ever met.  She had a heart of gold, a wicked sense of humor and a great sense of style (glasses, bags and shoes all had to match).  I had the pleasure of working with her @ GSK and learned so much from her over the years.  She loved her family and would share pictures and stories about her children and grandchildren all the time - they were her pride and joy.

My heartfelt sympathies and condolences to Beverly’s family and friends.  She was a wonderful colleague, friend and mentor in the nearly 25 years we worked together at GSK.  Her warmth, sense of humor and fashion style were only surpassed by her kindness and ever-present smile.  May she rest in peace with the angels.

Beverly lived her values:  she was unceasingly kind, compassionate, and courageous.  She demonstrated the utmost integrity and honesty, excelling at both leadership and friendship.   As one of her direct reports for a time, I always looked forward to seeing her smiling face, sharing in her sense of fun, and seeing whether she would wear the same pair of shoes more than once!  My heartfelt condolences go out to her family and to the many friends and colleagues whose lives she so gracefully and lovingly touched.  She is among the angels now.

I met Beverly at Glaxo many years ago.  We survived the mergers of GlaxoWellcome, GSK and continued to work together until I left.  Beverly was a strong & excellent leader.  I admired her so much and respected her values.  Beverly had a great sense of humor and would give me that look if she had concerns about how I was going to handle something.  She definitely made an impact on me as a leader at GSK.  Beverly will be missed greatly.  My sincere condolences to the family.  

So sad to hear the news of Beverly’s passing. She was a truly lovely lady whose warmth and kindness lit up a room. She was a great leader and role model combining humility, pragmatism and wisdom in support of all around her. She was also gifted with a wicked sense of humour and a fabulous sense of fashion. My deepest condolences to Beverly’s family, she was an outstanding HR professional and a beautiful human being.
I had the good fortune of her support at the RTP site during my time at GSK.   We worked very closely together and I’ll never forget her terrific sense of style, sense of humor and compassion for the many people we looked after in our groups.  
An irreplaceable loss for those of us here on Earth, but her place in Heaven has been assured for a long, long time.

Beverly was the first person I met in my first interview with HR at Glaxo 33 years ago.  Not only were we Glaxo, GW and ultimately GSK colleagues, we were friends, birthday buddies (one day apart) Gemini twins/triplets along with Lynn Harris. I will always remember Beverly for her fashion statement-coordinated outfit,  glasses and shoes and her warm smile and big hello. 

I am grateful for the career advice Beverly gave me while working at GSK.  The advice was insightful and kind.  
She was also a big supporter of the Bring Your Child to Work day.
