Benjamin Loyd Hamilton, 29, died at his parent’s home on Sunday, June 27, 2010. Born on July 13, 1980 in Raleigh, Ben graduated from Wake Christian Academy, attended Wake Technical College, and was very athletic and loved to exercise at the YMCA.
Ben is survived by his parents, Linwood and Rhonda (Baker) Hamilton; brother, Lenny (wife, Melissa) of Raleigh; niece and nephew, Kayla and Dayton Hamilton; maternal grandmother, Joan L. Baker of Sanford, NC, paternal grandparents, Bobby and Billie Hamilton of Raleigh; a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
A funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010 at Colonial Baptist Church, 6051 Tryon Road, Raleigh. A private family graveside will be held on Friday.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service at the church.
