Born and raised in Old Bridge, NJ, to the late Byron Burlew and Olive Cressman, Arlene was a 1952 graduate of South River High School. She was retired from the Glidden paint company as an office manager. She spent the last 30 years traveling the world with her husband Edward and many friends from Nancy Cabe Tours.
In addition to Edward, her husband of 64 years, Arlene is survived by her children, Bryan Curran of Nokesville, VA, Mark Curran (Jackie) of Salisbury, NC and Diane Holland of Clayton, NC, as well as her sister Barbara DeGraw (Jim) of Wylie, TX and brother Gary Burlew (Shirley) of North Brunswick, NJ. She is also survived by grandchildren Valerie Loeslie (Ryan), Erin Curran, Laura Curran (Jen), Rebecca Pulley, David Fields (Julie) and Tabitha Alliss (Beth), as well as 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive visitors on Monday, November 22nd at the Brown-Wynne Funeral Home in Cary, NC at 10:00 am, followed by an 11:00 memorial service. A graveside service will follow at Montlawn Memorial Park in Raleigh.
