Mrs. Highsmith was born on January 13, 1947 in Saginaw, MI, daughter of the late Howard Lee Wells and Lucette Juliet Delagrange.
Mrs. Highsmith was an avid animal lover and enthusiast. She adored her cats, turkeys and especially all of her chickens. She even befriended and cared for critters that visited her yard.
She is preceded in death by her parents; son, Eric J. Ash.
Survivors include her sons, Harold (Bridget) Ash, Jr. and Michael D Bunker; daughter, Deborah (Bobby) Parker; brother, Marc (Penny) Wells; sisters, Claudette McQueen Conn and Annette (Dan) McCloskey; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and special friends that loved her.
A Celebration of Life Service will be announced at a later date.
