Wilton Cole

Mr. Cole was born on July 16, 1937 in Cartersville, GA, son of the late Arley Cole and Annie Lee Brown.

Mr. Cole retired from the Bartow County Road Department after twenty-five years of faithful service. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing in his pond, tending to his vegetable gardens, watching professional wrestling on the television and collecting toy trucks.

He is preceded in death by his son, Stevie W. Cole; his twin brother, Alton "Bit" Cole and another brother, James Cole; sisters, Susie Ruff, Shirley Jenkins and Dorothy Brock.

He is survived by his wife of six years, Becky Cole; daughters, Darlene (Ronnie) Thomason, Cherry (James) Cole Hilburn, Sherry Cole, Jean Cole, Joan (Al) Dominguez and Chastity Sefton; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles and Olen Cole; sister, Irene Money; nieces and nephews.

Private graveside services will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 8th of February, 2018 in Sunset Memory Gardens with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock in the evening until eight on Wednesday, the 7th of February, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home.
