Wallace Eugene Holcomb

Mr. Holcomb proudly served our country in the United States Air Force for 26 years. After retirement, Mr. Holcomb worked for Atlantic Steel and Budweiser. He enjoyed spending his spare time hunting, fishing, gardening, and gold panning. Mr. Holcomb was a faithful member of Crowe Springs Baptist Church.

Mr. Holcomb is preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Clara A Starnes Holcomb; children, Debbie Canada, Richard “Rick” E. Holcomb (Patricia), and Cheryl Holcomb; brother, Forrest E Holcomb; grandchildren, Kevin Greenway, Ronnie Canada (Monica), Amanda Canada , Jeremy Barton, and Robby Barton; twelve great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five until seven in the evening on Sunday, November 5th, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home.

A Funeral service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Monday, November 6th, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home with Reverend Larry Towe and Reverend Ricky Allen officiating. Tiffany Allen will be providing the music during the service. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Ronnie Canada, Jeremy Barton, Robby Barton, James Starnes, Christopher Riley, Dalton Rogers, Marcus Riley, and Kevin Greenway serving as an honorary pallbearer.
