Violet Crivello Pruitt

Mrs. Pruitt was born July 18, 1926 in Pepeekeo, Hawaii, a daughter of the late Peter Dale Crivello and Mary Moniz Crivello.

She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church of Assisi in Cartersville, active in the Green Thumb Garden Club in Milpitas, California and was a retired secretary for the Milpitas Unified School District in California.

Survivors include her husband of 61 years, James Griffin Pruitt, her children and spouses, James Dale Pruitt and Katy Pruitt, of Milpitas, California, Patty Jean and Kerry Belanger, of Milpitas, California and John Michael Pruitt and Terre Pruitt, of San Jose, California, eight grandchildren, Blake, Joshua, Christopher, Meghan, Brittany, Lauryn, John and Angus, her brother, Peter Dale Crivello, of San Burno, California, two sisters, Blanche Iaukea, of Maui, Hawaii and Margaret Lee, of Hilo, Hawaii, and several nieces and nephews.

A funeral mass will be said 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 27, 2011 at the St. Frances Catholic Church with Father Dan Stack officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill cemetery.
