Terry Milton Henson, Age 67 of Cartersville, passed away at his home on Sunday, November 17, 2024. He was born on September 26, 1957 to Robert Milton Henson Jr. and the late Faye Teems Henson.
Terry is also preceded in death by his grandparents, Oscar and Phenia Teems and Robert M. and Lucile Henson.
He is survived by his father, Robert “Bobby” Milton Henson, Jr.; aunt, Diane Haney and cousin, Shane Haney.
Terry was a retired branch manager and officer with SunTrust (Truist) Bank. Following retirement he was an adjunct professor of computers. He loved to study history, Georgia Football and the Atlanta Falcons. As a child Terry enjoyed camping and riding his Honda 70 Series mini-motorcycle. He was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.
Gathering of Family and Friends will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2024 beginning at 1pm with a Celebration of Life Service at 2pm at Owen Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Sunset Memory Gardens.
