Sherry was born on October 1, 1952 in Cartersville, GA, daughter of the late W.C. Parks and Iva Hicks Parks.
Sherry graduated from Cartersville High School in 1970 and three months later, she married her high school sweetheart, Danny Jarrett. Danny proudly served his country for twenty years in the Navy and Sherry proudly served as a military wife for twenty years. Together, they had one son, Brandon Jarrett. Brandon loved playing sports since he was a young child, and Sherry rooted him on at every game. She even helped coach his little league baseball team. In recent years, she loved cheering on her five grandchildren at their school events and sporting activities. In her spare time, she loved collecting antiques and pottery and gardening, but the true joy of her life was spending quality time with her family and especially her grandchildren. She was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and a proud member of Atco Baptist Church.
Sherry is survived by her loving husband of fifty-two years, Danny Jarrett; son, Brandon (Britta) Jarrett; grandchildren, Blayne, Sam, Ella, Eila and Alina; sister, Dondra Parks White; niece, Michelle (Tim) Thomas; mother-in-law, Evelyn Jarrett.
