Sara E. Davis

Sara was full of life. Anyone who knew her will remember her sense of humor and spunkiness. She loved to make people laugh. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, spoiling them terribly. Sara retired from office management only to return from retirement taking care of others and working at Ingle's. All who knew and loved Sara will miss her open arms.

Sara is preceded in death by her parents, her husband of 26 years, Mr. William C. Davis, siblings; James Elrod, Hulon Elrod, Roland Elrod, Nellie Ruth Elrod Cline and Clarence Elrod.

Mrs. Davis is survived by her two daughters, Sandra Davis DeVore (John) and Penny Davis Lewis, grandchildren; Brette DeVore (David Quirus), Justin Williams (Britni), Krystal Williams and Trevor Lewis, great grandchildren; Landon Ashworth, Trustin Williams and Kyezen Williams.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, June 30, 2018 in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel at two o'clock in the afternoon.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home on Saturday, June 30, 2018 from twelve noon until the service hour.
