Ruth Ann Tidwell

Ruth Ann Tidwell, of Cartersville, GA passed away on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at Townsend Park Nursing home. She was born in Cartersville, GA on February 4, 1927 to the late Comer Arnold and Willie Ross Arnold.

Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, Delma Tidwell. She is survived by her son, Larry (Judy) Tidwell; daughter, Linda (C. H.) Lee; granddaughter, Anissa Lee, Kelly Wright; grandsons, Jason Tidwell, Jeff Tidwell; great-grandchildren, Shandon Wright, Parker Tidwell, Megan Tidwell, Brody Tidwell; sister, Edna Wynn; sisters-in-law, Madelyn Arnold and Nell Tidwell.

Ruth loved her family dearly and was a lifelong member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she served as a devoted Sunday school teacher for many years. Her family will always remember her for her great meals cooked with love. She always made the Holidays and special days of our lives even more special.

A Graveside Service will be conducted at 11:00 am on Friday, May 14, 2021 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cartersville, GA with Rev. David Baker officiating.
