Ruby Ellen Kelley Cooper

Mrs. Cooper was born on April 1, 1939 in Beckley, West Virginia daughter of the late Howard and Lillian Kelley.

Mrs. Cooper was an avid world traveler to places including Europe, Turkey, Greece and Hawaii, just to name a few. She also enjoyed taking her family on yearly beach vacations and traveling with the Cartersville Senior Center. In her spare time, she could be found tending to her flower gardens.

Mrs. Cooper is preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, William Elliott Cooper.

She is survived by her children, E Chris(Brenda) Cooper of Cartersville, GA; Dawn (Jimmy) Anderson of

Dahlonega, GA: Wm Keith (Jan) Cooper of Powders Springs, GA and Griffin (Lisa) Cooper of Spring, TX; grandchildren, Amy (Scott) Southerland, Michelle Cooper, Jesse Anderson, Jeromy Cooper,

Denise (Tyson) Chamber, Carmen(Justin) Killen, Elizabeth(Eddie) West, Kyle (Ansleigh) Cooper,

Joshua Cooper and Tabatha Cooper; 16 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Harold(Carol)Kelley, Roanoke VA; special friends, Joyce and Lynn Hawkins, Nancy Schmidt and Kevin Wilt.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o’clock in the afternoon on Sunday, the 7th of November, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Southerland officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Josh Cooper, Kyle Cooper, Jeromy Cooper, Eddie West, Justin Killen and Tyson Chambers.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o’clock in the evening until eight-thirty on Saturday, the 6th of November, 2021 at Owen Funeral Home.
