Roy "Bodie" Clinton Gray

Mr. Roy “Bodie” Clinton Gray, Age 78, of Adairsville, GA passed away at his residence Monday, April 23, 2018. Mr. Gray was born December 3, 1939 in Gordon County, son of the late Ernest “Pat” Gray and Bessie (Black) Gray.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a son, Bradley Joe Gray, sister, Hazel Cothran and brother, James Gray.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Ann Miller Gray, daughter, Donna (Hank) Hazelwood, sons; Johnny Gray, Randy (Bridgette) Gray and Russell (Ambrea) Gray, six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, brothers; Ernie, Duane and Wendell (Debra) Gray, sisters; Carolyn Law, Joyce Baker and Glenda (Terry) Martin, several nieces and nephews also survive to cherish his memory.

A funeral service for Mr. Gray will be conducted Friday, April 27, 2018 in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel at two o’clock in the afternoon with the Reverend David Baker officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brian McCollum, Glen Gray, Justin and Michael Baker and Carty James. Serving as an Honorary Pallbearer will be Steve Law. Interment will follow the service in the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Adairsville, GA.

The family will receive friends from six until eight in the evening Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Owen Funeral Home.
