Ronald Hugh Sumner

Ronald was born on January 22, 1951 in Atlanta, GA, son of the late Troy Sumner and Evelyn Nations Sumner.

Ronald was a very patient man and never let anything bother him. He was a loving and devoted husband to his late wife of thirty plus years, Judy Sumner. She was his whole world. He enjoyed traveling, sightseeing and visiting national parks. In his spare time, he loved woodworking, tinkering with cars and spending quality time with his family.

Ronald is survived by his two sons, Kyle (Courtney) and Todd (Kaysie) Sumner; grandchildren, Easton, Hudson and Harper Sumner; sisters, Susan (Wendell Britnell) Sumner, Marsha (Mark) Jones and Rolinda (Joe) Wittman; several nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at three o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 22nd of October, 2018 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Hugh Roberts officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family for one hour prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.
