Robert "Bob" Orville Bunce Jr.

Bob was a true outdoorsman, loving to hunt and fish. He was a devoted father and loved being "Papa Bob" to his grandchildren. Bob was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Cartersville where he once served as a deacon. He loved to cook for events at the church. He was essential in the construction of the fellowship hall of the church and built houses for Habitat for Humanity. He will be truly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Rose Mary Rice Bunce; Matthew Alexander (Hildi) Bunce, Melissa Elizabeth (Amos) Winters and Jeremiah Lucas (Jessica) Bunce, grandchildren; Serena and Morgan Bunce, Alissa, Tre, Santana, Allahna and Sunni Winters, Hunter Cochran, Jacob and Ginger Bunce, Cameron and Casen Cochran, sister, Janet (Joe) Johnson. Many nieces and nephews also survive to cherish Bob's memory.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted Sunday, February 03, 2019 at three o'clock in the afternoon at Heritage Baptist Church with the Rev. Michael Tutterow officiating. Interment will follow at a later date at Oak Hill Cemetery, Cartersville, GA.

The family will receive friends from one thirty in the afternoon, Sunday, February 03, 2019 until the service hour at Heritage Baptist Church.
