

Nancy is preceded in death by her loving husband, James Linwood Dean; parents, Silas and Nettie Allen Woody; sister, Shirley Green; brother, Robert Woody; son, Michael Williams; daughter, Karen Dean Nelson.
She is survived by daughters, Lisa (Ronney) DeBoard of Taylorsville, Sheila (Terry) Brawner of Cedar Bluff, Debbie (John) Kilgore of Canton; 7 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Nancy was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a Godly woman that was proud to be a devoted lifelong member of Friendship Baptist Church in Cartersville, Georgia. Nancy was retired from Bellsouth after twenty-five years of service. Nancy enjoyed gardening, flowers, traveling, line dancing, going out to eat, and shopping. While she loved her hobbies, her favorite memories were spending time with her family.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on January 27, 2024 at eleven o’clock in the morning in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Lyle will be officiating. The internment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Cartersville, Georgia.
Friends and family are cordially invited to a visitation on January 26, 2024 from six o’clock until eight o’clock in the evening at Owen Funeral Home.
