I saw the love letter Chris wrote to his brother on FB and it truly destroyed me and broke my heart - just so unbelievable!  Lucille I cannot even imagine what you've been through and my heart breaks for you.  All three of my boys felt the same and started sharing memories.  Our two Matthews were only two months apart in age and were inseparable as little boys growing up on Long Island living next door to each other.  My Matt's first memory was being in a plastic pool together and Lucille warmed water in a kettle to warm the pool up!  I guess my memory will always be of the two of them riding their big wheels as fast as they could and stopping by turning the wheel.  We were forever replacing the front wheel.  Matthew came to CA for a visit when we moved and all the boys were great together!  Butch even sent a big bologna and ham as no Boars Head by us:)   We spent a week in Mammoth and we played poker for pennies - each night all four boys begged us to play and inevitably one of them would start crying if losing but beg for it again the next night - it was so cute and funny!!  I haven't seen Matthew in years but my memory is a mild mannered dear boy and I'm sure that's the sort of man he became.  My heart aches for you Lucille and Chris and all your family.  Love you all

Dear Kuhlmann family,  I am so sorry for the loss of Matt.  We got to know Matt through David. I know Matt was effected by our story and the loss of our 22 year old son to suicide. He offered to help us with our business during our time and I was amazed by his willingness to help us. Through the years we ran into each other in downtown Woodstock.  I can't tell you how shocked I was to read my Facebook today. My heart is just broken for all of you.  I pray for God's healing over your entire family.  I am grateful my husband and I got to know Matt. He will be forever missed.
