Matt was born on September 4, 1980 in Springfield, MA, son of Michael Aliberti and Dale Clancy Aliberti.
Matthew Aliberti was the epitome of an exceptional man who was loved by everyone around him. He was known for his booming voice, which was somehow a mix of a northern accent with a hint of southern twang. Matt was an unsung war hero who had a passion for service to both his fellow man and his community. He served with honor in the United States Army, as a military contractor, and as a Deputy Sheriff. While as a deputy, Matt refused to do the bare minimum. He pushed to be the best at everything that was placed in his path. Matt excelled as a deputy, a S.W.A.T. Team member, a sniper, and a K-9 handler. He was a loving father, a devoted husband, a brave soldier, a trusted mentor, a humble warrior, and so much more to many. We will remember you for your larger-than-life personality, your entertaining method of “fixing” things that never seemed to pan out, your contagious smile, your “Alibertitude,” and your big heart. Rest easy, Matt, you deserve it. Till we see you again. We love you.
Matt is preceded in death by his grandparents, Carmine L. Aliberti and Evelyn Katz Aliberti and Walter Clancy, Jr. and Gram Hendry Clancy;
Survivors include his parents; loving wife, Jessie Aliberti; children, Michaela, Delilah and Zackery; his faithful K-9 partner, Halo; brother, Jeff (Erica) Aliberti; nephew and niece, Oskar and Adelin Aliberti;
