Mary Elizabeth Nelson

November 22, 2017. Mrs. Nelson was born January 18, 1945 in Cartersville, Georgia, to the late William Lee and Mary Heath Lee.

Mrs. Nelson is preceded in Death by her parents and two sisters Ruth Ann Staley and Joyce

Lee. She was a Home maker and enjoyed Quilting, sewing, and canning food for her Family.

Mrs. Nelson is Loved and will be missed by her family. Mr. Nelson prayed for twelve years

for the Lord to send Mary to be his wife. She was very involved with rearing of her siblings; she was very dedicated to her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Nelson was a virtuous woman Proverbs 31.

Survivors include her Husband Robert Nelson, Sr. her children Robert, Jr. and Angela Nelson of

White, Ga. Joshua and Katrina Nelson of Cartersville, Ga. Shane and Angie Fields of Cartersville,

Ga. Daughters Deborah and Richard Whatley of Cartersville, Ga. Rebecca and Jonathan Earnhart

Of Michigan and Barbara Soulis of Cartersville, Georgia, 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Also survives are Brothers Robert Lee, Jerry Lee. Sisters Edna Blackmon, Linda Drawdy, Brenda Ross,

and Patricia Hale.

Funeral Service will be held Monday November 27, 2017 at 11:00am from the Bartow Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Robert Nelson, Sr. and Joshua Nelson Officiating .

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Sunday November 26, 2017 from

5:00 until 8:00pm.

Pallbearers are Robert Nelson, Jr., Joshua Nelson, Richard Whatley, Cory Collum, Michael Kimbral,

Darrell Hale, Bradley Collum , And Skip Wilkerson.
