Martha Jane Holcomb

Ms. Holcomb was born on October 27, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, daughter of the late Peter Buda and Katie Esakov Buda.

Ms. Holcomb’s greatest passion was being able to care for all of her family and friends. In her spare time, she loved to shop at flea markets and yard sales. She also had a great love for animals and her very special cat, Sonny J.

She is preceded in death by her first husband, Robert F. Bough; second husband, William Holcomb; step-son, Glen Holcomb; grandson, Richard Holcomb; sister, Marion Zickur.

Survivors include her sons, Eugene Bough (Kathy) of Howell, MI, Keith Bough of Rock, MI; Step-son, Tom Holcomb (Janine) of MI; daughters, Catherine Pitt (Jim) of Valdosta, GA, Patricia Bough of Rock, MI; step-daughter, Pam Gifford (Bobby) of Chattanooga, TN; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Holcomb; grandchildren, Robert Gifford, III, Tonya Wallin, April Gimm, Dawn Lovell (Clayton), Tom Holcomb, Jr. (Megan), Tiffany Holcomb Rose (Josh), Glen Holcomb, Jr., Bobby Bough(Nicole), James Jentz (Shelby), Jenna Jentz, Elizabeth Pitt and Jeff Pitt; a host of great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at four o’clock in the afternoon on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with the Rev. Jim Pitt officiating.

Visitation will be held for two hours prior to service time at Owen Funeral Home.
