Lola Allison Greene

Lola was born on August 23, 1920 in Bairdstown, Georgia, Oglethorpe County to the late Homer Roe Allison and Ada Ruth Young Allison. She was a member of First Congregational Methodist Church, now Life Point Church in Cartersville. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Harris Richard Greene in 1998; her brothers John L. Allison, J. Robert Allison, Alsa R. Allison; and her sister V. Louise Allison Caldwell.

She is survived by her son, James Richard Greene and his wife Ann of Cartersville, her three grandchildren, Brad Greene and his wife Dawn of Cartersville, Lori Mitchell and her husband Billy of Cartersville and Jennifer Truelove and her husband Zach of Canton; 7 great grandchildren, Adam, Matthew, and Addie Greene; Holly, Sophie and Myles Mitchell, and Murphy Truelove.

Graveside services will be held Friday February 23rd at 2:30 pm at Sunset Memory Gardens with John Agnew officiating. Pallbearers will be Brad Greene, Matthew Greene, Billy Mitchell, Zach Truelove, and Mark Allison.

The family will receive friends on Friday February 23rd at Owen Funeral Home from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm.
