Linda Benson Coxe

Linda was born September 11, 1954 in Villa Rica, the daughter of Daphne (Hale) Hufstetler-Moss and the late George W. Hufstetler. She was employed at Eagle Carpet and later Carriage Carpet, enjoyed, NASCAR races, fishing and shopping and was of the Baptist faith.

She was preceded in death by her father and a brother, Donnie Hufstetler.

Surviving is her daughter and son in law, Melinda and Mark Smith of Cartersville, her mother, Daphne H. Moss of Dallas, Georgia, her fiancé, Jimmy Coxe of Ranger, two grandchildren, Levi Smith and Morgan Smith, step-children, Ava, Coxe, Hannah Coxe and Tyler Coxe, all of Waleska, two step-grandchildren, Cliff Rogers and Katie Coxe, four sisters, Bonnie Grizzle of Ranger, Janice Jones, Betty Tyree and Marilyn Martin, of Paulding County, two brother, Jerry Hufstetler and Terry Hufstetler, of Paulding County, step brothers, Howard and Joe Moss and her best friend, Linda Nation.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmy Blackburn officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Honorary Pallbearers are Tony Cook, Kenny Henderson, Ronny Hughes, Gary, Steven and Mathew Waters, Allen Morris, Jeff and Pam Brooks and Roy Brooks.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Cartersville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
