Joy C. Ard

Born August 1, 1940 in Cedartown, she was a daughter of the late Henry Franklin Cambron and Nellie Bedford Cambron.

She was of the Baptist faith. Joy loved traveling, especially cruising. She also loved to read and watch game shows.

Survivors include her children, Charles and Marilyn Bardwell, of Cartersville and Jennifer and Brett Meadows, also of Cartersville. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Adam and Samantha Bardwell and Mahaley Meadows, her great-grandchild, Liam Eardwel, her brother, David (Samantha) Cambron, of Gonzales, La., her sister, Sue Tinsedel, of New Orleans, a half brother, Henry Franklin Cameron, Jr., of Dallas, Ga., and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers, J.T., Boyd and Jerry Cambron.

Memorial services will be held 2:00 P.M. Sunday, March 17, 2013 from the Chapel of the Owen Funeral Home, with Rev. Greg Potts officiating.
