Frank was a very hard worker. He worked for many years for The City of Atlanta Water Works. He then became a trainer for the City of Atlanta. Frank married his childhood sweetheart, Mrs. Bobbie Watson McKee and they spent 60 years together. Upon retirement, Frank spent many hours fishing and playing pitch with his grandsons in the back yard. He loved Georgia Tech Football, catching a game whenever he could. Frank was a very loving man. He loved his family and friends and shared his faith throughout the City of Atlanta and in prison ministries. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Bobbie McKee, parents, siblings; Frances Baca, William "Bill" McKee and Joyce McFarland.
Frank is survived by his daughter, Arleen Shook and son-in-law, Roger Shook, grandsons; Brian Shook (Laura), Todd Shook (Candy), great grandchildren; Blake Shook, Chandler Shook, Haley Shook, Maggie Shook and Rylee Shook, and brother, Norman McKee (Ethel).
A graveside service will be conducted for Mr. McKee at Sunset Memory Gardens, Cartersville, GA Thursday, August 2, 2018 at ten o'clock in the morning. Serving as pallbearers will be: Brian Shook, Todd Shook, Blake Shook, Chandler Shook, Gary Watson and Wayne Watson.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 1, 2018 from five o'clock in the evening until eight at Owen Funeral Home.
