John Carrion

On Monday, the 11th day of December, 2023, our beloved John Carrion, also known as JC and Johnny, gained his heavenly wings. As we all are gathered here today to celebrate this incredible human being, we will forever remember the fond memories we each spent with Johnny.

Johnny was born on the 29th of December, 1963 to Juan and the late Clara Carrion, in Brooklyn, New York. In 1995 he moved to Georgia with his wife Maria Carrion, whom he married on the 29 of October, 1993. His marriage union created two sons, Jabari and Jaovani.

He was employed as a driver for both the city and school buses, concrete truck operator, home fixtures installer and at Denoro Center. His love and passion was for barbering. His business establishment, JC Mr. Barber Shop, was a safe haven for his clients. Johnny was a counselor, a mentor and motivator and a beacon of hope to all those who knew him.

Left to mourn the passing of this beautiful soul are his wife; Julie, children; Jelani, Jabari and Jaovani, grandchildren, sisters; Lucy and Maria; brother, Vidal; father, Vidal; in-laws; and other family and friends in the United States, Puerto Rico and Grenada.
