Joe is survived by his children, Alyssa Rivera, Mariah Rivera, Dylan Bailey, Dominic Rivera; grandson, Layton Barrett Fitzgerald; parents, Brian and Karen Satterfield; sister, Leticia Satterfield; nephews, Aiden Pledger, Silus Pledger; special love, Sasha Porter; grandmother; Teodosia Rivera; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

God needed a special angel and called Joey home. He was a bright shining star on Earth and he will be the brightest in Heaven.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, March 23, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
