Jo Anne Smith Topham

Jo Anne is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Richard Topham; son, Kyle Topham, daughter, Karen Topham; parents, J. Hugh and Anne Elizabeth “Sammie” Smith. She is survived by her son, Ken Topham, Jr. and wife Susan; daughter, Kathy Hays and husband Jeff; grandchildren, Kent (Ashley) Topham III, Christopher (Morgan) Topham, Chase Topham (Liz Herlihy), Karen (Jeff) Dunwiddie, Rebecca (Brent) Johnson; great-grandchildren, Kolbie Topham, Andrew Topham, Karson Topham, Caraway Dunwiddie, Harper Herlihy, Austin Topham, Asher Topham, Bennett Dunwiddie, Addison Topham and Harlow Herlihy.

Jo Anne was a lifelong resident of Cartersville. For many years, she worked for several local doctors.

Jo Anne and Ken were married for 60 years and spent most of those years traveling across the country in their Airstream. Jo Anne also enjoyed playing cards and reading.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, November 25, 2024 at Sam Jones Methodist Church with Rev. Kevin Lobello officiating. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with Keith Topham, Christopher Topham, Kent Topham, Chase Topham, Jeff Dunwiddie and Brent Johnson serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Monday, November 25, 2024 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Sam Jones Methodist Church in the Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Sam Jones Methodist Church.
