Jo Anne Knight Perry

Jo Anne is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Freddie H. Perry, sons, Charles Perry, Dewayne Perry, daughter-in-law, Tammy Perry, parents, Herman Knight and Lilly Mae Knight, sisters, Joyce Jenkins, Janet Martin, brother, James “Bucky” Knight brother-in-law, Ronald Layton Jenkins. She is survived by her children, Rena Ray (Tommy), Mickey Perry (Alina), adopted son, Stanley Chadwick, grandchildren, Kevin Ray (Rebecca), Keith Ray (Laura), Dustin Perry (Kourtney), Katelyn Anderson (Jack), Trish McFall, Dayne Perry, nine great-grandchildren, brothers, Jerry Knight (Ethel), Joel “Sonny” Knight (Wanda), sister-in-law, Janet Knight, several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 24, 2025 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs and Rev. James Black officiating. The interment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens with Brian Knight, Stanley Chadwick, Jonathan Martin, Rodney Martin, Johnny Knight and Michael Fowler serving as pallbearers and Michael Knight and Levi Stewart serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
