Jerry Thomas Hubbard

Mr. Hubbard was born on May 4, 1949 in Cartersville, GA, son of the late Ralph J. Hubbard and Ella Mae Burns Hubbard.

Mr. Hubbard was a great outdoorsman who loved to spend his spare time fishing and hunting. He also would adventure out hunting rocks and would then polish them into beautiful jewelry. He was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and was a proud and active member of Grace Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Billy Joe Hubbard; sister, Brenda Diane Hubbard; niece, Teri Howard.

Survivors include his loving wife of forty-five years, Judy Hubbard; sisters, Martha Howard (Tim) of Cartersville, GA, Vivian Jane Banfield and Kim Elizabeth Walls of Hogansville, GA; several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at one o’clock in the afternoon on Thursday, September 10, 2015 in the Chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Jenkins officiating. Interment will immediately follow in Mountain View Church of God Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from six o’clock in the evening until nine on Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at Owen Funeral Home.
