Jason Shoun Howard

Shoun was born July 31,1974 in Cobb County, was employed at Franklin Tractor and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church.

He was an avid Georgia Bulldog fan, was a graduate of Cartersville High School, earned a Bachelors Degree at Georgia Southern, enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. Shoun was also an organ donor.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ruby and Hob McGrath.

Surviving is his wife, Brandy Howard , his son, Carson Howard and step daughter, Bailey Barcomb all of Calhoun, his mother, Ann Howard of Cartersville, brother and sister in law, Joel and Amy Holcomb of Douglasville and their children, Joseph and Luke, half-brother, Michael Howard and his wife Stefnay of Cartersville and their children, Hannah and Hallie, step sister, Tina Evans and her husband David and their daughter Lauren Vincent, all of Marietta, his uncle, Gene Howard of Cartersville and his aunt, Liz Dempsey of Taylorsville.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 12, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Dr. Bill Britt officiating.

Burial will follow in Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00-9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Gene Howard, Chris Brock, Patrick Jones, Will Archer, George Cook, Joe Holcomb, Zack Williams and Michael Roberson.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made the Shoun Howard Memorial Fund at Century Bank.
