He was born in Cartersville, Georgia, on December 26, 1962, to the late Nora Alice Myrick and Doyle Wesley Myrick. Jack was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Louise Myrick, and Herbert and Gussie Wiley. He is survived by his three children, Karla Myrick, Matthew Myrick, and Lucus Garcia-Myrick, as well as siblings David Myrick, Herbert Myrick, and Emily Myrick, and many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at 2:00 pm on Monday, March 4, 2024 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. The interment will follow at Emerson Cemetery with Matthew Myrick, David Myrick, Herbert Myrick, Allen Myrick, Kagen Taylor, Courtney Taylor, and Cameron Floyd serving as pallbearers.
