Helen Elizabeth Millsap

Mrs. Millsap was a cherished, loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. The joy of her life was spending quality time with her family and especially her grandchildren. In her spare time she enjoyed dancing and shopping.

Mrs. Millsap is preceded in death by her loving husband of 26 years, Samuel Owen Millsap, Sr.; son, Anthony "Tony" Christopher Millsap.

Survivors include her son, Samuel Owen Millsap Jr. (Patti), Jeffrey Marc Millsap (Teresa); daughter, Marcie Kristine McEntyre (Jamey); grandchildren, Christopher Vaughn, Colin Martin, Shane Petty, Shannon Millsap, Nichole McEntyre, and Alicia Millsap; nineteen great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Monday, the 16th of October, 2023 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Shane Petty officiating. Internment will immediately follow in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Serving as pallbearers are Shannon Millsap, Nicole Ferguson, Colin Martin, Christopher Vaughn, Clark Millsap and Carey Millsap.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from five o'clock in the evening until seven on Sunday, the 15th of October, 2023 at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Dementia Society of America at www.dementiasociety.org or to the Alzheimer's Association at www.act.alz.org in honor of Mrs. Millsap.
