Willene always had a positive outlook, finding good things in everyone she met. Willene was a devout Christian who loved her Saviour and family above anything. She was a hard worker, raising five children with her husband of 60 years, Mr. Dillard Rutledge.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Leo Hill and Mrs. Ruby Ellis Rutledge, husband of 60 years, Dillard Rutledge, infant daughter, Renea Rutledge, daughter, Joan Burns and son-in-law, Ken Burns, sisters: Helen Hobgood and Faye Moody, brothers: R.L. Hill and Ricky Hill.
Willene is survived by her children; Joyce and Ray Roebuck, Jimmy and Elizabeth Rutledge, Roger and Donna Rutledge and Becky and Todd Bechtel, grandchildren; Kim and Todd Chester, Kevin Burns, Kerri and David Chatman, Amy McKinney, Johnathon and Ashley Rutledge, Christopher Rutledge, Brandon and Jessica Rutledge , Kristian and Jared Davis and Olivia Bechtel, great grandchildren; Abby and Brett Moody, Claire Chester, Hailey and Emma Burns, Lily McKinney, Will, Brooks and Tessa Rutledge, sisters; Dottie Waller, Mary Ann Woodall and brother, Bob Hill, and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs, Rutledge will be conducted Sunday, April 15, 2018 at two o'clock in the afternoon at Owen Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Larry Davis officiating. Serving as pallbearers will: Mark Rutledge, Roy Rutledge, Steve Hill, Dean Woodall, David Padgett and Joey Deams. Interment will follow the Service at White Methodist Cemetery, White, GA.
The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Saturday, April 14, 2018 from two o'clock in the afternoon until four and again from six o'clock in the evening until nine.
