Gilbert Martinez

Gilbert Martinez of Cartersville passed away Monday July 23, 2012 at Cartersville Medical Center. Born in San Diego January 30, 1948, he was the son of the late Carmen Martinez and the late Frank Martinez. He is preceeded in death by his parents and his brothers James Martinez, Armando Martinez, and John Martinez.

He was a loved father, tata, uncle, brother, and best friend. He lived for his children and grandchildren; he was vibrant and full of life no matter what. You will be greatly missed “Rest in Paradise”.

He is survived by his children Daniel Martinez of Acworth, Ga., Erica Martinez Dunlap of Cartersville, Ga., Michael Martinez of San Diego, Ca., and Patrick Martinez of San Diego ,Ca.; his grandchildren Jazmin Martinez, Adriana Martinez, Victoria Martinez, Elijah Dunlap, Marcus Martinez, Aiyana Martinez, Lily Dunlap, Daisy Dunlap, Caisha Dunlap, and Jayden Martinez; And his dog Mabel.
