Hello mama 
It's  Christmas  Eve  and I miss you so much ,it's been almost a month sense you went home to be  with Jesus  I know your having the time of your life walking with the Jesus. .they say each day without you gets easier , and I'm sure it does  but the way I feel today with out you I don't know  I love you and miss you so much  I taking care of daddy like I promised         love your daughter 

My Mawmaw was the best friend I’ve ever had. I am so grateful to have grown up being loved by her. I remember staying with her while mom and dad were at work. We shopped, we played, we cooked, we painted ceramics. On Friday nights I would spend the night with her and Pawpaw. She’d always help me find a spot to hide in so I could surprise Pawpaw. When it was time to go home after the weekend I would cry and yell “I can’t leave my Mawmaw, I can’t live without her”. I’ll never leave her and she’ll never leave me. She’ll always be with me in spirit. Thank you Mawmaw for showing me unconditional love. 

You taught me how to make biscuits and gravy. You taught me how to play Rummy and Go Fish (and how to cheat at both). You sent Pawpaw to pick me up from Emerson Elementary with half a sandwich, a debbie cake, and a jar of sweet tea everyday. You have always been walking distance from me and I don't know how to do life without you. We will take good care of Pawpaw for you.

Mom was always there for everyone. She was a servant to those in need and a friend to those in need. Most of all, I am thankful she raised me to be who I am today. She was my best friend and sidekick for many years. I will miss her more than anything, but I know she isn't in pain and she's not tired anymore. Knowing the love of Jesus in my heart, I know I will see her again one day. I miss you every day mom.

We spent a lot of time growing up at Aunt Florence and Uncle Clifford's house with Darlene, Denise and Daniel driving Aunt Florence and Uncle Clifford crazy. We always loved staying with them and we always had fun at their house . Growing up they where all on the hill in  subdivision right there together. So, as kids. We would run from one house to another visiting, eating, playing, and being loved by them all. Aunt Daisie and Uncle Charles at the bottom of the hill with Deb and Aunt Rita always being around with Maw maw and Pawpaw and Aunt Donna right up by them. Then, Aunt Florence and Uncle Clifford, Darlene, Denise and Daniel up above them and Uncle Jerry, Aunt Mary, Marsha and Lamar at the top of hill. We will always remember running around from house to house growing up. And, always had a full belly and Joey said, he would eat breakfast at all of their houses. We had the best aunt and uncles and couldn't ask for a better family to be a part of because, we have the best!! We had a big family and there was a lot of us so, we had a lot more love than most. You always knew you was loved and cared for being in the Ledford family. Hugs and love was always shown and I'm proud to be from such an affectionate loving family. I will always be proud to be a Ledford and I will cherish every second of all my memories with all of my Aunts and uncles and Maw maw and pawpaw and cousins and love all of you and just want the ones that are still with us to know. Even if I don't see you very often or much I love you and you will forever be an important part of my life and will always be in my heart. Family will always be family and thank God we have had the best!! I love all of y'all and RIP Aunt Florence and thank you for loving me and scolding me when, I needed it!!! Fly high and tell all of my other aunts, uncles, mawmaw, pawpaw and my Daddy I love them and will see you all again one day!!
