Evelyn Thacker Wilson

Mrs. Wilson was born June 24, 1919 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late Walter Thacker and Bertha Worley Thacker. She was retired from Rich’s Department Stores and was a member of Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. Wilson.

Survivors include her son, Larry Wilson; granddaughters, Erin Shuler and Leslie Wilson; great-granddaughters, Maggie Eldridge and Iris Shuler, Sibling’s Lamar and Doris Thacker, Elise Collier and other extended family members also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon June 27th at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Clinton Green officiating. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.

The family will receive friend s Thursday evening from 5:00 until 7:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Ronnie “Red” Wilson, Frank Worley, Charles Wilson, Chris Boss, Stephen Lively and Greg Thacker.
