Eva Christine Rice

Mrs. Rice was born May 14, 1928 in Bartow County, the daughter of the late, Willie and Nancy Frances (Williams) Kell, was retired from Kulmans and was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.

Mrs. Rice was preceded in death by her parents, five sisters, 5 brothers, a daughter, Teresa Diane Rice and a granddaughter, Heather Rice.

Surviving is her daughter and son in law, E’Laina and Greg McCurdy of Dalton, a son, Wayne Brian Rice of Cartersville, grandchildren, Kandice Edwards and Keirsten Stephens-Lane, two great grandchildren, Matthew Edwards and Alexander Stuart and a great-great-grandson, Brody Edwards.

Funeral services will be held Monday, August 24, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.. Burial will follow in Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday from 2:00-3:00 p.m.
