Estelle Prather Beck

Born in Cartersville January 7, 1933, Estelle retired from A&P Grocery Store in 1991.

Estelle was preceeded in death by her mother, Bessie Prather; her father, Fred Prather; her sister Irene Prather Davis; and her brother, Fred Prather, Jr. Estelle was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She loved to cook, play Scrabble, work crossword puzzles, and take care of her family and friends.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Dan Beck, of Acworth; daughter Jo Ellen Ruhling and husband Rusty Ruhling of Kennesaw, son Neal Hufstetler and wife Vicki Hufstetler of Ball Ground, son Keith Hufstetler and wife Myra Hufstetler of Cartersville; five grandchildren: Deidra Pope, Christy Sutton, Brittany Hufstetler, Abbey Hufstetler, and Brock Hufstetler; and three great-grandchildren: Dalton Pope, Logan Sutton, and Donavan Pope; a sister & brother-in-law, Pauline & Lloyd Davis of Acworth; brother & sister-in-law, Grady & Betty Beck of Cartersville, sister-in-laws, Janice Beck of Cartersville, Jean Beck Smith of Marietta and Betty Prather of Acworth; a number of nieces and nephews also survive..

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 23rd at 2:00 P.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Don Hattaway officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be Saturday January 22nd from 4:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.
