Mrs. Edith Rebecca Simpson Cochran

Mrs. Cochran was born February 3, 1931 in Bartow County, Georgia, daughter of the late Emory Simpson and Ethel Fowler Simpson. She was a Homemaker and a member of Church of the Covenant. Mrs. Cochran was a loving Mother & Grandmother and she loved her Church. She was preceded in death by her husbands; Marvin Kay and Oscar Floyd Cochran.

Survivors include her children; Jerry & Sandra Kay, Patricia & Mack Matthews, Diane & Wayne Moon, Cheryl & Jack Leming and Debbie & Jim Craig; 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters; Barbara & Ronald Haney and Myrtle Meeks; close friends; Donna & Matt Morris; nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted Saturday morning August 14th at 11:00 A.M. in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Ronnie Cline and Rev. Rex Cox officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 3:00 until 9:00 P.M. at Owen Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Bobby Moon, Jason Leming, Hunter Myrick, Josh Craig, Jimmy Kay, Jason Kuykendall and Tip Holt.
