Earl Waymon Cunningham III

Earl Waymon Cunningham III, age 47 of Cartersville GA, passed away on Sunday, September 22, 2024. Earl, lovingly known as “Boone” or “Wayne”, was born in Carrollton Georgia on December 11, 1976 to Virginia Ann Cunningham and Earl Waymon Cunningham Jr.

Wayne was a loving son, father, uncle and friend. His passion and integrity to those he loved was unwavering and his infectious smile and laugh will live on forever. We will miss Wayne dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with him and will always feel his presence in our hearts.

Wayne was preceded in death by is mother Virginia Ann Cunningham, sister Lisa Michelle Cunningham, niece Kaysha Kaylor, uncle Jeff Cunningham and grandmother Sue Cunningham and grandfather Earl Waymon Cunningham Sr.

He leaves behind his father, Earl Waymon Cunningham Jr., his first love and former wife, Mandy Willard, mother to his daughter Bethany Nicole Cunningham and son Dallas Waymon Cunningham; his son Daniel Barfield; brother Chris (Carmen) Cunningham; nieces and nephews Khari Villegas, Lindsey Cunningham, JJ Cunningham, China (Donovan) Williams, Ivey (Matthew) Frazier and Dylan Cannon, as well as many cousins and close friends.

Family and friends are cordially invited to a visitation on October 1, 2024 from twelve o'clock until two o'clock in the afternoon at Owen Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted at two o'clock in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home. Rev. Josh James will be officiating the service. Burial will follow at Harmony Church Cemetery, in Calhoun, GA, where Wayne will be laid to rest beside his sweet mother.
