Dorothy Elrod

Mrs. Elrod was born March 6, 1945 in Bartow County, a daughter of the late David and Mae Hulsey Cox. Before illness Dorothy was the owner of All Occasion Catering. She was of the Baptist faith. Dorothy loved to cook and loved her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of 49 years, Harry Elrod, daughter and son in law, Vickie and Randy Fleming and son and daughter in law, Michael and Vickie K. Elrod, all of Cartersville, Grandchildren, Josh Fleming, Kayla Fleming, Micah Elrod and Bryson Elrod, Great-grandchild, Alishia Fleming, sister and brother in law, Bonnie and Donald Hovers, sister, Connie Graves, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, David Ray Cox.

Funeral services will be held 12 Noon Saturday, February 15, 2014 from the Center Baptist Church with Rev. Rudy Ross officiating. Interment will follow in the Center Baptist Church cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Joe Salvatore, Brett and Trent Dooley, David Graves, Timmy and Bryan Hovers.
