Mr. Delano Phillips, age 81, of Euharlee, GA., passed away, Monday, June 13, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. Mr. Phillips was raised in Feds Creek, Kentucky, a son of the late Clyde Sydney Phillips and Lova Hunt Phillips.
When you met Mr. Phillips you would soon learn he was an avid basketball fan, his favorite team by far was the Kentucky Wildcats. In his spare time he enjoyed reading, listening to bluegrass music, and gardening. Though these hobbies brought him great joy, nothing could hold a candle to how much he loved spending time with his wife and family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend; he will certainly be missed by all who knew him.
Along with his parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by one brother, Ishmael Phillips.
