David Greg Scott

Mr. Scott was born August 25, 1963, in Detroit, Michigan, the son of Earl and Judy (Humphries) Scott, was a Teacher and Coach at Cass High School and was a member of Oakland Heights Baptist Church.

Surviving is his wife, Tensi (Howard) Scott of Cartersville, a daughter and son in law, Cieanna and Brad Sisk of Winchester, Tennessee, his son, Trey David Scott of Cartersville, his grandson, Lucas Sisk, his parents, Earl and Judy Scott of Georgetown, Kentucky, sister and brother in law, Lana and Mark Pennington of Georgetown, Kentucky and beloved best friend, Bobby Hughes of Rydal.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2015, at 1:00 p.m. in the Cass High School Gym with Rev. Joe McKaig officiating.

Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends at Owen Funeral Home Friday evening from 5:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be P.J. Hughes, Trey Walker, Edvonte Curtis, Tarris Batiste, Jordan Morning, Drew McKaig, Logan Wilkey and Ernest Wiggins.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later day and time in Winchester, Tennessee.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Oakland Heights Baptist Church, 16 Highland Way N.E., Cartersville, Georgia 30121, to go toward a college fund for his son, Trey Scott.
