Christopher Mark Franklin

Mr. Franklin was born July 29, 1974 in Rome, Georgia the son of Jerry and Margie Franklin and was a member of Peeples Valley Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Darrin Franklin and grandparents, Willie Mae and Jess Franklin and J.D. and Beaulah Adcock.

Surviving are his sons, Tristen Franklin and Zachary Franklin, both of Cartersville, their mother, Cammie Franklin of Cartersville, his parents, Jerry and Margie Franklin of Cartersville, nephews, D.J. Franklin of Cartersville and Travis Franklin of Florida, special cousins, Sherry Johnson-Hatch, Jeff Johnson, Karen Roberson and Gary Mashburn, all of Cartersville, Aunt, Helen Bruce of Cartersville, uncle, James Adcock (Becky) of Pine Log, aunt, Teresa Adams (Robert) of Cartersville and a special great aunt, Melody Montgomery of Calhoun and other aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, October 14, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Darrell Bailey and Rev. Henry Smith officiating.

Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 6:00-8:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Brian Adams, Nonnie Combs, J.R. Maxwell, D.J. Franklin, Frankie Crisp and Dakotah Pirkle.

Owen Funeral Home, 12 Collins Drive, Carterville, Georgia is in charge of the arrangements.
