Christie Anne Smith

Christie was born January 17, 1970 in Bartow County, worked at Woodwright and was a member of The Church at Liberty Square.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Howard and Blanche Wilson, Willie and Louise Smith, uncle, Joe Smith, aunt, Sandra K. Smith and cousins, Andrea Wilson, Lamar Wilson, Jymee Smith and Rebecca Emily Blackburn.

Surviving are her parents, Ronny and Faye Smith of Cartersville, her brother and sister in law, Ron and Shelley Smith of Taylorsville, sister and brother in law, Tina and Jessie Waits of Cartersville, niece and nephew, Ciara Commons and Cory Commons, great nieces, Celese and Addy Rouen and aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Zion Hill Baptist Church with Rev. David Summey, Rev. Scott Johnson and Rev. David Baker officiating.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday evening from 5:00-9:00 p.m.

Pallbearers will be Harold Gentry, David Commons, Shane Commons, Kevin Southerland, Allen Whitener and Cory Commons.

Honorary pallbearers will be Harry Bishop and Ricky Summey.
