Carolyn Wright Vaughan

Carolyn Vaughan, age 83, of Cartersville, Georgia passed away Friday, February 18, 2022 at Maple Ridge Healthcare in Cartersville, GA. She was born in Gadsden, AL on October 22, 1938 to the late T. Bernice Wright and Marguerite.

She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church.

Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, William Austin “Billy” Vaughan; brothers; Lawrence Wright, Robert Wright and Richard Wright.

Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, William Neil Vaughan & Susan Morris Vaughan; granddaughters, Lauren Taylor Vaughan, Meagan Leigh Iberger, husband Greg; great grandson, Grayson Iberger; brother, Joe Wright; sister, Dorothy Kunkle and her husband Bob; sister-in-law, Jerre Wright; family, Jamette & Doug Ralston, Julianna Taylor; special friend, Bradley White; host of nieces, nephews and cousins also survive.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm on Tuesday in the Owen Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Charles Marus officiating. Interment will follow in the Pine Log United Methodist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Owen Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or Faith United Methodist Church or Pine Log United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund.
