Bonnie Louise Smith

Bonnie was born on March 18, 1949 in Alliance, OH, daughter of Atley Lloyd Burley and Betty Ormiston Burley.

Bonnie enjoyed crafts, writing children's books. She had a giving heart and was always willing to help those in need. The joy of her life was spending quality time with her family, especially her sons and her fur babies.

Bonnie is preceded in death by her father, Atley Lloyd Burley; husband, John "Jack" Bernard Smith; son, John Smith; brother, Alan Burley; niece, Toni Burton.

Survivors include her mother, Betty Ormiston Burley; sons, Jeff Smith and Jim Smith; grandchildren, Jamie Smith and Christopher Smith; sister, Karen (Tim) Burley Murray; nieces, Hilary Simms and Heidi Simms; great-nieces, Jordan (Brett) Thrasher, Jayden McCray, and Olive Sage Mroz; dogs, Dixie and Porky Lee; several special cats also survive.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted at two o'clock in the afternoon on Thursday, the 27th of October, 2022 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Kenny Jacobs officiating.

Graveside services will be conducted at eleven o'clock in the morning on Friday, the 28th of October, 2022 at Georgia National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, John Bernard Smith.
