Bobby Lee Kennedy

Bobby was born on January 3, 1953 in Cartersville, GA, son of Audrey Lee Kennedy and Sallie Mae Willis Kennedy.

Bobby retired from Atlantic Steel and Marietta Cobb County Water Authority after many years of dedicated service.

In his spare time, he enjoyed deer hunting. His true love in life, was spending quality time with his family and his grandchildren.

Bobby was also a proud member of Calvary Baptist Church in Acworth, GA.

He is preceded in death by father, Audrey Lee Kennedy; beloved dogs, Yoda and Jake Kennedy.

Survivors include his mother, Sallie Mae Willis Kennedy of Acworth, GA; loving wife of twenty-five years, Joan Ellen Dover Kennedy; children, Robert Shane Kennedy, David Shawn (Jorge) Kennedy, Kelly Ann (George) Clark and Priscilla (Matt) McClure all of Acworth, GA, Amanda Chere Lawson of Cartersville, GA, Tony Raymond (Elaine) Clark of Rockmart, GA; fifteen grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister, Linda (Barry) Walker of White, GA; brother, Billy Mays Kennedy of Woodstock, GA; a host of nieces and nephews; beloved dog, Casper Kennedy.

A Celebration of Life Service will conducted at one o'clock in the afternoon on Monday, the 18th of January, 2021 in the chapel of Owen Funeral Home with Rev. Josh James officiating. Interment will immediate follow in Rolling Hills Cemetery, Acworth, GA.

Serving as pallbearers are Devon Roberts, George Clark, Zach Pitner, Shane Brown, Brennan Lando, Jake Walker, Tony Clark and Matt McClure.

Friends are cordially invited to a visitation with the family from six o'clock in the evening until eight on Sunday, the 17th of January, 2021 at Owen Funeral Home.
